Investment Options

Main Option: Real Estate Investments

The investor can make one of the following investments in real estate:

━   EUR 250,000 investment into conversion of commercial properties into residential use or restoration of listed buildings

━   EUR 400,000 purchase of a single property of at least 120 sqm

━   EUR 800,000 purchase of property in Athens, Thessaloniki, or islands with more than 3,100 inhabitants

Other Options

Other non-real estate investment options that are available under the program include:

━   Lease or Time-Sharing Agreement: 10-year lease for hotel accommodation or furnished tourist residences (EUR 400,000 to EUR 800,000 depending on location)

━   Bank Deposit: EUR 500,000 deposit in a Greek credit institution.

━   Capital Contributions: Either EUR 500,000 in a public limited real estate investment company or an alternative investment fund investing in Greece. Also available is investing EUR 500,000 in government bonds with a minimum three-year maturity

━   Financial Investments: EUR 800,000 in shares, corporate bonds, or Greek government bonds traded on regulated Greek markets. Also available is investing EUR 350,000 in mutual funds investing in Greek shares, corporate bonds, or government bonds
